The first illegal alien “dreamer” has just been sent back to Mexico under Donald Trump after his 4th conviction.
23 year-old Juan Manual Montes has been in the US since he was 9 years old. US Customs and Border protection sent Montes back to Mexico after 4 criminal convictions and being caught without proper documentation of his “DACA” status.
Montes is the first “Dreamer” to be deported. The DREAM Act (Development, Relief, and Education for Alien Minors) is an American legislative proposal for illegal immigrants that first grants conditional residency and upon meeting further qualifications, permanent residency.
If Obama was still in office Montes would have been able to remain here with all of the other criminal illegal immigrants, big and small. But this isn’t going to fly with President Trump here.
Even the perpetrator, Montes was surprised that they actually deported him.
“Some people told me that they were going to deport me; others said nothing would happen. I thought that if I kept my nose clean nothing would happen,” he said.
An attorney with the National Immigration Law Center also complained about routine law enforcement. “Even in this administration, because of Trump’s comments about loving these people, the integrity of the government’s promises are at stake. How does an immigrant family today know that this is not going to happen to them?” Marielena Hincapié told USA Today. The paper did not correct her abuse of the term “immigrant,” which refers to alien individuals given a permanent right to reside in the U.S. and work without restrictions—not foreign criminals squatting on U.S. territory.
The roughly 1.4 million illegal aliens who eagerly signed up for amnesty under Obama handed over their identities, addresses, and free admission of committing a crime. One million of the illegal aliens who got temporary amnesty are from Mexico. Over half live in California or Texas.
We are dreaming of the days when taxpayers are not burdened by the crimes, court time, lawyer fees, and jail-all paid for by us when we could be using the money to help the poor, the vets and our infrastructure etc…
