Retired Marine, Jose Lois Sanchez, who lost his leg in an IED explosion, completed the Boston Marathon carrying an American flag… Nothing more patriotic than that!
The Retired Marine inspired millions when he competed in the 121st Boston Marathon on Monday. The 26.2 mile race is no easy feat and he completed it with one prosthetic leg while waving the American flag the whole way. Sanchez finished the race in just under 6 hours.

How amazing are our vets! This wasn’t the only inspirational moment of the day either. Another veteran who lost one of his legs also, crossed the finish line waving the American flag AND carrying a woman over his shoulders.
Earl Granville is a 9 year veteran from the Army National Guard. He lost his leg when his vehicle was hit with a bomb in 2008 while serving in Afganistan. Wow.. Share this in honor of all the men and woman who selflessly serve our country!
